Bailey's First Tooth

With a little patience, Bailey finally lost her first tooth. (with daddy's help.) The dentist told her that if she was able to get her tooth out there would be a surprise for her. We'll have to see on Wednesday what the surprise is.

Valley Zoo

Today we took the kids to The Valley Zoo. We had been there back in 2005, but the kids were too young to remember it. We had a lunch picnic by the Red Panda exhibit and ice cream near Lucy. (the elephant) It was a great day.
The best part for me was the Guinea Pigs. There was about 50+ of them. I could sit there for hours watching them. I don't know why I found them so captivating. You can go to the pet store and find them. But I've never seen a herd (can you call Guinea Pigs a herd) of them all in one place before. They were too cute.

Check out the white/brown one with the straw hanging out of his mouth.

A Little Outing

Saturday we decided to head down the Legislative Grounds to have a look. After living here six years we thought that maybe we should go. I was blown away by the beautiful flowers and I took too many pictures. The kids loved the freedom of being able to run around and they especially loved the wadding pool. What was only suppose to be a quick little look, turned into a wonderful couple of hours.

Once Old Now New Again

It's amazing what you find when you go through boxes. I decided to clean the basement and go through boxes that haven't been touched in years. I opened one box and came across a whole bunch of pictures of the kids. It was like Christmas. These are just two of the many pictures I found.
Riley (almost 3) and Bailey(almost 2) taking a lunch break. Riley looks like he should be living on the street. I can't believe he's dressed like that. Bailey is about to have a heart attack because she can't get into her snackable. Everytime I look at this picture I laugh.
Cute picture of Bella (6 months). I call her my little elf. She looks like she should be working in Santa's Workshop. Too delicious.
