Happy Birthday Bella

Bella turns six today. Time has gone by so fast. Her party is on Saturday. I'll make sure I post pictures.

Bella's New Bike

After having 2 secondhand bikes, we bought Bella an early Birthday present on Saturday. We had her sit on the couch and watch out the window as Dwayne took the bike out of the back of the van. Her expression was priceless. I tried to take a picture of it, but she was off the couch so fast and I was too slow. We bring it in at night and put the bike in her room so she can look at it when she goes to bed.

The Future

We were sitting around the dinner table talking with the kids. I asked Bella what she wanted to be when she grew up. She told me that she wants to be a ballerina. What little girl doesn`t want to be one. Then she went on to say that her and Bailey will be living together. ``Wonderful,`` I said. ``I`m going to have a baby.`` Now Bella knows how babies are born. She also knows that she came out of my tummy instead of the traditional way. I asked her if she was going to have a husband. She looked at me very seriously and said ``No. That`s Bailey`s job.`` ``Bailey`s job.`` ``Get a husband.``

Dress Up Time

The Girls decided to raid Grandma's closet and came upstairs in these outfits. Took me back to when I was their age and would put on mom's dresses.

Winter Is Still Holding On

Because the weather is what it is, I have been forced to put my hanging baskets in the bathtub. How sad. Well at least I can look at the flowers while I'm in the bathroom. Winter seems to be back. I must have slept through Spring and Summer though.

Dirty, Dirty, Dog

I don't know why Oliver goes out and finds the only wet patch of dirt. He hates to have a bath and you would think he would stay away from the mud. I turned my back for a quick second while raking the leaves in the backyard and this was the result.
