She Likes To Play Jokes

Bella has been living up to her status from her report card from last year. Her teacher had written that "Bella is quite humorous in class." For the past couple of days I have noticed that she's been playing little jokes around the house. Bailey has seemed to be the butt of her pranks. Last night Bailey is in the shower and Bella came into the kitchen to get a cup. Because she can't reach the taps in the kitchen, she goes to the bathroom to get a drink of water. Well a few seconds after going into the bathroom we hear Bailey scream. Bella comes running out laughing. She decided to get a cup of cold water and dump it on Bailey. Then today she grabs a kleenex, runs into the bedroom and says to Bailey, "Look what you did. I have a bleeding nose now." She pulls the kleenex away and starts laughing. Bailey yells at her, "You're just trying to get me in trouble." Bailey starts crying. I know I should give her a big lecture on how that's not nice and one of these days your going to get into big trouble. But it is pretty funny.

Trick or Treat 09

Riley dressed as a dead gangster. Well that's what he told me because I had no clue what he was.
Bailey dressed as a Spanish Princess. She wanted to go out with no coat on, but we live in Alberta so a coat was a must for this outfit.

My little Bella was a Spider witch. She became sick on Friday and we weren't too sure if she would be up for going out. But like the trooper she is she was able to stay out for a while. Afterwards Dwayne took her home, gave her a bath, and cuddled with her on the couch watching movies while I took the other two around the neighbourhood. She is still sick today and is spending the day on the couch.
Trouble x3.

Pumpkin Carving Time

We spent Sunday afternoon carving pumpkins. The kids designed the face and Dwayne and I cut it out. Bailey had a hard time taking the guts out. There was a couple of times she gagged. I thought she was going to throw up.

A Night Out For Bailey's Birthday

We took the kids to Jubilations Friday night. Even though I was battling this cold, we had a blast. The kids got a chance to go on stage and dance with one of the actors. And halfway through the show Dwayne got up stage to dance to It`s Raining Men. So funny. It was a wonderful night.

Yes. It's a Blog Update

Don't rub your eyes, yes I'm updating the blog. It has been an extremely busy month and my time has been stretched to its limit. Here's a quick rundown on what we have been doing.

Bailey has been involved in Running Club at school three days a week. That thankfully came to an end on Thursday. It will pick up again in the Spring. Both Riley and Bailey are singing in the choir this year. So we'll get to see both of them up on the stage at the Christmas concert in December. Bella is learning to read independently, spell, and how to survive a whole day without mommy. After a rough couple of weeks, she has found her way. As for me...well I'm getting by. It's an adjustment having a time to myself.

Why Oh Why?!?!

Bella attempted to brush her hair with a toy doll's round brush the other night. Of course she got it twisted and stuck in her hair. Instead of coming and getting me, she tried to take it out herself. I headed down to her room to tell them lights out and she was sitting on her bed in tears. It took Dwayne a half an hour to get it out. She fell asleep.

Back To School

With backpacks and lunches in tow, the kids headed off to their first day of school. Bella was so excited I really don't think she slept very much that night. Bailey, for about two weeks, talked about school and counted down the days. Riley tried to play like he wasn't excited at all, but he was the first one dressed and waiting to go. Now I'm left with some time on my hands. I guess there is no excuse for the laundry not being done.
