Rollerblade Fun

On one of the rare sunny days this Spring, the kids strapped on their blades. Riley seems to have the hang of it. The girls on the other hand still need some practice.

A New Addition

We felt it was time to get a new family member this past month. It has been a while since Sassy left. (she went to the Kitty Retirement Home.) This is Boomer. We rescued him from the Shelter and has fit in nicely in our home. We didn't want a kitty and felt there are so many adult cats out there that need a home.

Bella's Missing Front Tooth

After many months with a loose front tooth, Bella's front tooth finally came out. She looks like some homeless hillbilly.

Chicken Pox Round 2

Since it has been a couple of weeks since Bella had the chicken pox, I thought that was it. Well, Bailey woke up this morning covered in spots. Bella only had about 18 spots. Bailey on the other has spots everywhere. We tried to count them, but there was too many. She has them on her face and there is even one on the bottom of her foot. She is going to have to stay home for the rest of the week. Which really sucks because she was aiming for perfect attendance at school this term.

Chicken Pox

While doing our nightly shower, I noticed some spots on Bella. As I looked closer I realized that she has the chicken pox. There has been an outbreak in school and her best friend Teresa and her brother have had them. So it was just a matter of time before one of the kids got them. Even though the kids have been immunized, there is still a chance that they can get them. It's just not as severe. Bella will be out of school for the rest of the week. We are up to 18 spots and counting.

911

Bella is home from school today with a really bad cold. She has been sleeping on the couch all day. Well...while I was at work today Bella decided to call 911. Mom was home at the time and she couldn't figure out why my phone kept ringing. She came up stairs to answer it and it was the police on the other end. They said that there was a call made from our house and whether there was an emergency or not. Of course there wasn't. In the end, Bella was trying to call me and ended up calling 911 instead. Which doesn't make sense to me. Oh well. I just finished telling my girlfriend not to long ago that my kids have never called 911. There I go again opening my big mouth.
