One Goal Down

With tons of tears and a few temper tantrums, we got the girls to ride their bikes without training wheels. It was a goal Dwayne and I set out to accomplish this summer. I'm trying to get a picture of Bailey riding her bike coming towards me. After I took the pic, I had to jump out of the way so she didn't run into me. She hadn't figured out the brakes yet.

Last Day of School

I'm so happy that summer has officially started. The kids are now able to ride bikes, play in the pool, stay up late, and sleep in. I'm looking forward not being on a schedule. For ten months that's all we were on. So to not have to been anywhere at no particular time is great. I'm sure they will drive me crazy and by mid-August I'll be screaming to have them head back to school.
Riley and Bailey did great on their report cards. I guess I could say that I also earned that "A" as well. They both worked really hard this last term and it showed. Can I gush anymore. '
Check back this summer, because I'm sure I'll have lots of pictures. Our one goal this year is to get both girls riding without training wheels. As for Riley, our goal is just to keep him out of the emergency room. I hope everyone has a great summer.

Bella's Birthday Bash

Saturday we celebrated Bella's 5th Birthday. (She doesn't officially turn 5 until Tuesday.)We headed over to Sue's house and had a water slide/pool party. About 11 kids turned up and they had a blast. The weather wasn't the greatest, but that didn't stop them. Bella was shaking so bad, her lips were blue, but she wouldn't give up. We finally had to shut it down to keep them out of it so they could warm up. We tried to get one of the adults to go down for twenty bucks. No one would do it. I wonder when adults loose their wits. The kids had no problem going up that high. Bella after sliding down the slide. The water is always running, so that water is COLD!!!
Princess Ba being a girl and wondering if she should go down the slide. The water would mess her hair up.
Riley getting ready to go down again. He couldn't believe how high up he was. He leaned over the edge, which scared us. The last thing we needed was having him falling down about ten feet.

When A Family Gets Bored

We were bored last night so we decided to have a little fun with a toy that Riley got in a party favours bag. You have to turn it inside out and wait for it to right itself. When it right`s itself, it makes a pop noise. Well Riley, along with Dwayne, put it on their heads. When it pops, it would smack their head. The vid below shows you what they were doing. Sorry it`s grainy. The lighting in the living room isn`t the best. We were laughing so hard that it was definitely a depends moment.

Taking Time To Smell The Roses

Bella taking some time to smell the flowers in my bouquet. Thanks to my Aunt for doing such a nice job on them. She also made boutonnieres. Riley couldn't get that flower off fast enough. As soon as Dwayne and I were done exchanging vows, he was ripping that thing off.

Mr. & Mrs. Tanner

Saturday, we officially became the Tanner Fam. I didn't think it was such a big deal that Dwayne and I married. But now that I look back at it, I think its something that should have happened a while ago. The unity in the family has become stronger. We seem more like a family. I'm amazed on how we were able to get somewhat of a decent picture of the five of us. One of the kids is usually making a funny face or crying. I think I'll have to make this one our Christmas card this year.
