Nine

Nine years ago today the powers that be gave me the most amazing gift. Her start in life was rough and we didn't know if we would be able to bring her home. But five days later we brought her home to a fiesty eleven month old brother. I have watched Bailey grow into the most wonderful and well adjusted girl. I find it an honor to be her mother. Happy Birthday my girl!!!!!

Elizabeth hung out with me for a few mintues at Avie's birthday party. So Mom was able to snap a pic of the two of us. She is so cute and seems like such a happy baby.

Clarification

Okay point taken that the kids would be home if it was a holiday. Let me clarify that the holiday would for moms, dads, grandparents, guardians, and everyone else I haven't mentioned. Kids go and we sit back and enjoy the quiet.

Back To School

I would have to say that out of all my favorite times of the year, Thanksgiving has always been my favorite. Since the arrival of my babes, Christmas over took Thanksgiving. And since my kids started going to school, the Staples commerical totally has it right, this is the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!! Now don't get me wrong, I love my children. And I make sure I tell them that everyday. But after two months of fighting, I'm bored, can I do this, why can't I do that, a person goes a little crazy. So even though I'm sad that they are one year older and one year further away from the babies they use to be, I think they should declare the day the children go back to school as a holiday.
